There are plenty of cat celebrities on Instagram, from the grumpy cat to stars Iris and Abyss, but when it comes to the most gorgeous blue eyes to lose yourself in, Xafi and Auri — two Russian Blue cat sisters with fascinating green eyes – are unrivaled.

The felines appear to be twins, although they are simply blood sisters and are of different ages. Auri was born in the fall of 2016 and Xafi (Xafira) in the spring of 2016. Their owners, Anneken and Tim, a Reading, England-based couple, know how to identify the difference. Xafi has a more angular face with somewhat higher ears, whereas Auri has a rounder face, larger ears, and darker fur.

The two cats have unique personalities in addition to their physical distinctions. In comparison to the cheeky, wicked, and mischievous Auri, Xafi is more cuddly and cozy. Auri likes to steal things and run away with them, as well as shred toilet paper and “attack blankets and cat beds,” while Xafi enjoys cuddling and sitting on her parents’ laps. The two siblings, on the other hand, get along swimmingly and adore their human.
