On their popular TikTok account @mr.gardeners, the couple posted a video of their find. The video was shared over 11 MILLION times in the first day thanks to their more than 503K followers! “Renovating our Homes, Landscapes, and Lives BRB, working on a project,” their tagline boldly proclaims. They had no idea that merely leaving their house would impact the lives of one extremely fortunate kitty. In addition to their own!
It all started as usual when they discovered a little orange tabby cat cuddled up in front of their garage. As they approached, the little stray didn’t appear to respond much, which was worrying. They were aware, however, that he was in severe need of assistance. So they snatched him up and carried him inside the garage’s shelter.
They couldn’t uncover any other cats or kittens in the vicinity to indicate where this newborn had originated from. One of their followers made an excellent point in urging them to inspect the garage roof. Stray cats frequently give birth or seek shelter on roofs. This time, though, there were no indications that this was the case.
They gave him some water while concentrating on the fragile body in front of them before rushing to the pet store for food.
It was here that they discovered he couldn’t even see!
They noted that whenever he dropped his head into the bowl of water, he always reached for his paw first. He was determining the water line to drink with his paw. That means he was completely deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deaf
They gave him the name “Whiskers” and intended to take him to the veterinarian the next day. He wasn’t sure about the meal he smelled at first. But after a forced taste, he quickly realized that eating was a wonderful thing.
He was given a wash and his eyes were carefully wiped as best they could. What’s extra charming is that Whiskers enjoys belly rubs a lot. It was especially nicely appreciated to be dried with the towel! If if all kitties were like that, the world would be a better place.
Whiskers was immensely affectionate to the pair, despite the fact that he couldn’t see what was going on.
With optimism and kitten silliness, his much happy tiny body jumped around the garage. He didn’t care for the automobile journey to the vet at first. But he immediately got into his makeshift mode of transportation, which would make him feel MUCH better in no time. The veterinarians were able to clean his eyes very well, and he was prescribed medications to treat his infections.
Whiskers will now spend the next several days on his medicines in the protection of the garage. The men are committed to administering him medications every two hours and could not be more eager to do so. Because he enjoys showering them with purrs and beautiful kitten-ness to express his gratitude.
He’ll also see an ophthalmologist to figure out what, if anything, needs to be done about the double eye infections. The Franciscos, on the other hand, have promised to keep their followers up to speed on his progress. Follow Mr.Gardeners on TikTok or Instagram @Mr.Gardeners!
I’m sure we can’t wait to watch Whiskers’ happy existence now that he’s found his owners. Thank you to Joshua and Jose for being great heroes and congratulating the growing family. Gentlemen, you are an inspiration!
