A stray cat is spotted while doing her best to care for her 3-month-old kittens and taken into Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals, where it is discovered she is significantly pregnant once again. She goes into labor two days later and gives birth to an eight-kitten litter! She’d been discovered just in time!

Angela Su, a foster volunteer, said, “She had been living outside her whole life and was coated in fleas when she first got in.”

The elder kittens were promptly adopted away due to their age, allowing the beautiful calico to focus on her new offspring. One of the most important things she required was a foster home. As a result, Angela took her in and provided her with a safe haven.

Celeste, together with her kittens Drizzle, Sunny, Breeze, Moon, Cloud, Rain, Twinkle, and Storm, had their own house for the first time in their lives.

“At first, she was apprehensive about visiting my home. “She’d spent her entire existence outside, and she’d experienced so many different things,” Angela explained.

She eventually adjusted, and was overjoyed to get all the assistance she required in caring for an eight-child litter!

“Being a mother of eight is difficult and exhausting job, but she is a wonderful mother to her kittens.” Celeste is a patient mother who cleans and feeds all of her children,” Angela remarked.

“While she is caring for her kittens, I will occasionally bring her dinner or breakfast to eat in bed.”

“Whenever she wants petting, she now softly nudges my hand with her head to let me know. “She also enjoys making biscuits with her paws,” Angela said.

She’s entirely at ease, and she’s transformed into the loving, gentle cat she was always intended to be.

Angela and the adorable calico mom are both lovingly caring for her kittens, who are now developing at a rapid pace.

“They’ve been around for over three weeks. Their eyes have all opened, and they are beginning to move.”

When one kitten starts crying for mom’s attention, soon everyone else joins in.

Before long Celeste finds herself completely occupied. Especially now that her babies are on all four paws! Celeste won’t have to be a mother anymore once her children are old enough to be adopted.

Now that she’s settled into her new life as an indoor cat, she’ll finally get the care she deserves.
