Hayden Winter intended to have dinner and then go to bed when he returned home late Tuesday night from work. However, when he entered his bedroom, he discovered that someone else was in bed.
She was tucked between Winter’s covers and comforter, glaring him down as if he were an invader.
Winter knew her as Fezgin, a local cat who joyfully roams the streets of his Istanbul neighborhood.
Winter told The Dodo, “Istanbul is really a metropolis of cats and dogs.” “It’s fantastic – people simply feed them and they become a part of the community.”
He stated that this wasn’t the first time she’d broken in, but she didn’t normally leap into his bed.
Winter described her as “a bit wicked.” “She’s constantly having a good time.”
Winter took a few images and shared them on Catspotting, a closed Facebook group, where her break-in received a lot of attention.
Fezgin didn’t stay that night, but Winter is considering letting her rest in his room throughout the winter if she needs to.
If she needs the warmth, he’s confident she’ll show there on her own.
“I’m confident she’ll come back,” Winter said. “She’s the boss, like all cats in Istanbul.”
